Invisible People

“My lady.” How can I help you? “My lady.”

The receptionist at my workplace is very kind. She always calls me ‘my lady.’ It makes me feel happy that even though I am an assistant (in a way), and that she notices me every day.

I wanted to dedicate this short blog post to all those people who do so much for others but their work is not highly appreciated. Without the receptionist at my workplace, we would not have soap in our bathrooms, chips for lunch and clean dishes. They do so much more.

I wanted to say thank you for having a kind heart, a happy smile every morning and greeting everyone who comes and leaves the office. Thank you for appreciating my work and being helpful.

When you go to work, say thank you or something nice to those who supported you in your job. Maybe they know it or they do not, but appreciation is key.
